Ambassador Constance J. Milstein Launches Women of Influence Event Series

On August 10, Ambassador Constance J. Milstein launched a new series of engagements to promote women’s leadership in business, government, the media, health, and other sectors. The kick-off event of the Women of Influence Series took place with a cocktail reception convening distinguished women at the Excelsior Grand Hotel. At the event, Ambassador Milstein asked guests how the U.S. Embassy can best partner with local voices to advance women’s leadership, representation, and participation in all sectors of Maltese society. She stated, “I want to generate a series of encounters where – together – we can explore different aspects of our personal experience, share our stories, build a network of support, and form friendships.” This series will continue from 2023-2024. Each iteration will feature a different guestlist, theme, and style to create an organic network that will influence social change for women and girls.
