U.S. Department of Agriculture
The Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) links U.S. agriculture to the world to enhance export opportunities and global food security. In addition to its Washington, D.C. staff, FAS has a global network of nearly 100 offices covering approximately 180 countries. They are prepared by economic officers stationed in embassies and posts around the world and analyze a variety of economies that are or could be markets for U.S. businesses of all sizes.
Overseas Security Advisory Council
The Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC) is a free public-private partnership offered by the U.S. Department of State’s Diplomatic Security Service. OSAC is dedicated to maintaining strong bonds between public and private security professionals to provide the broadest security perspective and widest scope of support. OSAC’s peer networking groups focus in on specific industries and regions and are co-led by representatives from both the U.S. Department of State’s Diplomatic Security Service and U.S. private-sector organizations operating abroad.
