Digital Video Conference on Domestic Violence

On November 24, the U.S. Embassy partnered with the Commission on Domestic Violence to host a 1-hour digital video conference during their annual national conference to mark the official launch of 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence. This year’s conference, “Listen to Me, Giving Children a Voice,” featured Virtual Speaker Scott Miller, a contract trainer and forensic interviewer from the First Witness Child Abuse Resource Center in Duluth, Minnesota.  Mr. Miller shared best practices in  conducting forensically sound interviews of children suspected of being physically or sexually abused.  He also discussed the response to domestic violence and took questions from the audience
