The American Embassy,  has a requirement for Gardening Services at the U.S. Ambassador Residence and the Deputy Chief of Mission Residence. This project is estimated at between $35,000 and $70,000. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror.

Period of Performance August 01, 2021 – July 30, 2022

All contractors that respond to the solicitation must be technically qualified and financially responsible to perform the work.  At a minimum, each offeror must meet the following requirements when submitting their proposal:

  • Be able to understand written and spoken English;
  • Have an established business with a permanent address and telephone listing;
  • Have the necessary personnel, equipment and financial resources available to perform the work;
  • Have all licenses and permits required by local law;
  • Meet all insurance requirements;
  • Have no adverse criminal record;
  • Have no political or business affiliation which could be considered contrary to the interests of the United States;
  • Have good experience and past performance records; and,
  • Identify specialized experience and technical competence required to complete the painting work in accordance with this solicitation.

The successful offeror shall be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) database https://www.sam.gov prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 5.207. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of their proposal.

The U.S.  Embassy in Valletta, Malta  has a requirement for purchase of Defibrillators. This project is estimated at between $10,000 and $20,000. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror.

In order to be awarded Purchase Orders at or above US $10,000.00, Contractors are required to get a DUNS number.  A DUNS number is a unique 9-digit identifier issued and maintained by Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) that verifies the existence of a business entity globally. D&B assigns DUNS numbers for each physical location of a business.  All government contractors globally can receive a DUNS number at no charge and, under normal circumstances, within 24-72 hours when using the D&B web form process (http://fedgov.dnb.com/webform) or by calling D&B in the United States at +1-866-785-0428.
